Through the Keyhole

Kenny Hill started out as a luthier working in California making Guitars in the early 1970's and though he came later to Ukuleles he has still been making them for some time. Over the years he has used a couple of brand names for his Ukuleles including Ukebrand and Hill Guitars, The main output is Classical Guitars, in fact Ukuleles don't feature on his website at all, and he has expanded his manufacturing company in the US, now having a small team of staff making his instruments including his sons, and a custom shop for one offs.

In addition to his own US firm's output he also does work in an "advisory" capacity for Cordoba, set up a workshop in a US State Prison and in Mexico, and is the main shareholder and "advisor" in a Chinese factory where they make the New World Guitars range of Classical Guitars.
