In being on the look out for nice Ukuleles I see the work of a number of full and part time luthiers. The instruments they make look very nice and worthy of note.

From Staffordshire in the UK he started with Guitars in 2007 and has been making Ukuleles since about 2008. He is largely self taught but has worked with luthier Alan Marshall. He only makes a few a year, doesn't do commissions and has made Sopranos, Tenors and Baritones
From Horsham Surrey UK, he studied instrument building at London Metropolitan University and won the 2011 Young craftsman of the Year in the South of England He has only made Soprano Ukuleles so far but say he makes Concert and Tenors too. As the name suggests he also makes Guitars and a guitar like instrument called a Sympitar
Now based in Devon, England, he learned luthiery at the Guildhall University in London, graduating in 1997. He is primarily a Guitar maker but his standard catalogue includes a cedar or spruce topped Tenor Ukulele. He also does commissions so there is the possibility of other sizes
